We are a family of 4 and really enjoyed our break at Beachside cottage. It’s a very well equipped, clean and comfortable house. So close to the beach and lots to do at The Bay. We have already booked a repeat visit. Highly recommended.

Lovely property, lovely area and setting. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 children and pooch. Beautiful place and to a high and excellent standard. I would happily visit again.
The Bay

4 day stay was fantastic. Cottage was located very close to the footpath down to the beach, which has easy access for push chairs and poor walkers. The cottage felt like home from home . The double bedroom had a Juliet balcony with a view of Filey in the distance. The facilities at the bay were fantastic swimming pool was very clean. Very friendly atmosphere through out the resort. Second bedroom was very spacious. The only thing I would wish for was another saucepan as there were only two. Parking was easy. You can walk along the beach to Filey 30mins from your door. Cayton Bay 10 mins by car. Good for surfers. Would have stayed longer if we could.

We stayed from 26th-30th August in this lovely cottage. We have been to The Bay before (not in this property) and enjoyed it so much we booked again. This cottage is in a great location, really close to the beach and to all of the activities. The cottage has everything you need and has lovely bifold doors out onto some green space which was great for the boys to play. The weather was wonderful, beach stunning and we tried some of the activities- splash session and nerf wars which our boys loved and seemed good value. A fantastic break, we will definitely return!

What a lovely holiday we had at beachside cottage, Filey. The location of the cottage on the Bay Village site was brilliant, so close to the beach. The cottage itself was spacious, clean and well equipped for our 4 night stay with 2 kids. The beach at Filey is wonderful, lovely stretch for the kids and for running and paddling. We’d highly recommend the cottage. It was like a home from home. Thank you!

Amazing cottage so close to the prestige beach at Filey. The weather was also perfect. The cottage slept 4 adults comfortably and had every home comfort. We have stayed at some lovely places in the area so far but this was our favorite. Filey is becoming one of my favorite places to be so hopefully we will be back. The cottage took a dog and the whole area is very dog friendly. Just perfect !!

Lovely break away with my family (including our 4 legged family member) couldn’t not fault the cottage it was beautiful and in a lovely location! Only thing I could suggest would be to have access to a few cleaning products as we had to go and buy everything from the local shop! (fairy liquid, something to wipe the kitchen sides down with) But we probably should’ve checked 1st and packed some from home! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5* Anniversary Weekend

Having major post-holiday blues from our wonderful long weekend at Beachside Cottage. Situated in a modern, clean complex with great onsite facilities. Myself, husband and 18-month old daughter enjoyed the close proximity of the leisure centre, beach and pub/restaurant (John Paul Jones). The private walkway to the beach makes for a lovely stroll down to the vast expanse of coastline, although the steep hill down to the beach made for a white knuckle shuffle with the pushchair! :) We walked along the beach into Filey and spent the day exploring the area finishing up with a takeaway from local Chinese (Golden Dragon- absolutely gorgeous). The cottage itself is on the the edge of the complex warranting sea views and is very close to the walkway to the beach. It's modern, clean and homely. Our stay was made easier with the included high chair and travel cot although a foldaway stair gate would have been useful rather than our makeshift barrier using dining chairs! Ha! We will definitely be back! Thank you for making our anniversary weekend a memorable one xx

Left on Sep 17, 2017 for a stay in Sep 2017 A real home-from-home holiday. Loved the house which was furnished to a high standard. The location was perfect with the beach a 10-minute walk away. Fabulous expanse of sand when the tide went out and opportunity to walk along the beach to Filey. There is an excellent pub around the corner, gym and indoor swimming pool. The site lacks a convenience store but Tesco is only a short drive away. We would recommend this accommodation and location and look forward to returning.

Left on Apr 21, 2017 for a stay in Apr 2017 I wanted a relaxing chilled 3 nights’ 3-day break with my 3 children and that's exactly what we got. A fantastic cottage village in a great location. Pool gym and lots of leisure facilities which we were able to use and we had a beach on a doorstep. A couple of fine dining places too and more development being done on site which I'm sure will only add to a fabulous holiday destination. With lots of wonderful places well within reach it makes for a great holiday. Plus, we were able to go full on in the day then come back in the evening and chill in a fantastic cottage that had games dvds etc. and was well homely warm and big cheers guys for the experience would definitely come back for longer.

Weekend Retreat.
Left on Mar 8, 2017 for a stay in Feb 2017 We had 4 people in the party and were delighted to find such spacious accommodation to an extent that no one was ever in the way of anyone else. The cottage had everything that we needed in every department to make the stay a comfortable, warm and cosy one and it was so centrally situated that we were able to make full use of the pool, pub and restaurant with ease. We even managed a stroll on the lovely beach. We will definitely return to repeat this fabulous experience.

It's in a perfect location and is a bonus that you can take your dog. Beach, pub and restaurant just minutes’ walk away - beautiful beach with lovely walk to Filey. Property is exceptionally clean and modern, fully-equipped with everything you need for a break - home from home! Spacious bedrooms with lovely views from the main bedroom across to the coast. Great outdoors area with bbq. We will definitely be going back!

Left on Feb 28, 2017 for a stay in Feb 2017 What a lovely cottage, the facilities are very modern and of a high standard. Feels like home from home! The Bay is so lovely, with pub, leisure and pharmacy facilities within 1min walk. The beach is something else, so lovely to have private access, again within a couple of minutes’ walk. We walked into Filey for some lunch by the beach....so no need to use the car, that was lovely. We will definitely be back, it's a rare find, will suit anyone.

The onsite pub is ideal for snacks or meals of a good quality. The accommodation its self is of high standard with comfortable beds and clean linen with no trace of pets having stayed.
